FAQs
1. What is the ideal age to start piano lessons?
We welcome students of all ages! While many children begin around 5-8 years old, it's never too late to start. We offer tailored lessons to suit young beginners, teens, and adults.
2. Do I need to have a piano at home?
Yes, having a piano or keyboard at home is important for practicing between lessons. If you're just starting, an 88-key digital keyboard with weighted keys is a great option.
3. How often should I or my child practise piano?
Consistent practice is key to progress. However, it also depends on the age of the student. For 5-6 year old pupils, we recomend around 3 times a week. Generally, it is suggested to practise 4-5 days a week, for 20-30 minutes each day for beginners. As skills develop, practice time may increase.
4. Can I take lessons online or do they only have to be in-person?
We offer both in-person and online lessons, so you can choose whichever format works best for you. Online lessons are conducted over video call, and we ensure the same high level of instruction as in-person lessons. However, for advanced students it is highly recommended to have in-person lessons on regular basis.
5. Do you offer discounts for siblings?
Yes! We offer 10% discount of the monthly fee for the younger sibling, for the first whole school year!
6. What do you do in the trial lesson?
The trial lesson is an actual lesson, equally productive to the following lessons. Before the trial lesson, we will arrange an online free consultation call, where we will meet and talk about the goals of you and/or your child. There, you will have the chance to ask any questions you might have in mind.
